Important Notification on Excel Reporting in 2.4

There are a few things you need to know...

We have now released the new 2.4 version of dRofus. This version will includes a major upgrade to the Report and Exports module including a whole new interface with several new features for both Excel exporting and PDF reporting

Regarding exporting data to Excel there are an impact that you need to know about.

In 2.4 we have introduced a new Excel export engine that will replace the old to improve upon the way exports are generated. This change will impact all customers that have created project Excel exports using the New/Save feature we have had for years.

All saved excel exports based upon this old excel exporter will no longer be available in version 2.4. The saved Excel exports needs to be recreated using the new Excel export method:

In 2.3: Users can recreate saved Excels exports using the Configure Excel exports – see documentation here https://wiki.drofus.com/display/DV/Advanced+Configuration. Any saved export using this method will be available in 2.4.

In 2.4 these reports can still be recreated but will not be able to reference the exports in the saved Excels module.

dRofus 2.3 version are available from https://www.drofus.no/en/download/ to download and install to access the old saved Excel exports.
